Showcase, very well done. Looking forward to more. Must have taken some serious time arranging and mating all the components of the drivetrain and suspension outside of the chassis. I hope this blog remains on the Internet in perpetuity. As many an automotive engineer and /or designer can learn a great deal from its contents. Thanks so much Dave.

Thanks Julian, it's always encouraging to get morale boosting comments. As for the effort to set up the powertrain... you're absolutely right! It was a PITA but I figured it was now or never. I screwed two dozen little hooks into the ceiling and suspended all the parts from strings to hold them where they would be at ride height. Then I photoshopped the strings out of the pictures. Out of 80-odd photos, I got about 10 that I was happy with.

Hi Marc. The windshields were part of a limited custom production run in the US. They aren't currently available but many people bought more than one "just-in-case", like me. I'm not willing to part with my extra one, but you might try asking in the "Mall" section of either Mad Mechanics forum, or Pennocks Fiero forum... you could get lucky.

Thanks for the info. Been following for quite some time. Love your work. I'm doing a northstar swap as well, but want to build a custom body. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
